Boracay island re-opens its doors

Share

After six months of rest and rehabilitation, the worldÔÇÖs Number 1 Island destination re-opened its doors to tourists on 26 October 2018. BoracayÔÇÖs White Beach looks as pristine as it was in the 1970s and 1980s before it became an international attraction for its powdery white sand and crystal-clear waters. The work is far from over on many parts of the island, however, as is still undergoing major construction concentrated on the main road where widening, digging, paving and installation of drainage system and new lighting posts is ongoing.
