Set in beautifully renovated premises between the Post Office and Sisowath Quay, the restaurant keeps the buildingÔÇÖs innate old world sophistication buffed with a smart, contemporary polish making it a perfect European caf├®-style retreat for meeting friends or associates or simply relaxing with a quiet book and perhaps a glass of HobNob wine.
The building itself was once the back of the Messageries Fluviales de Cochinchine operation in Phnom Penh, a company established in 1881 by Jules Rueff after it became clear that financing for a railway line between Saigon and Phnom Penh would not be forthcoming.
