Diethelm Travel Sri Lanka Management team took part in the Hemas Group Awards ceremony held annually, to recognise and reward the best performers of the year 2016/2017. The award ceremony was for the managerial positions across the group (i.e. applicable for ÔÇ£ManagerÔÇØ grade and above).
The awards night was a black tie event inspired by the theme ÔÇ£GatsbyÔÇØ and was held on the 15th September 2017 at The WaterÔÇÖs Edge, Colombo.
We are proud to announce that Ms. Thushari Steinwall (General Manager ÔÇô Finance) won the title of ÔÇÿemployee of the Year 2017ÔÇÖ and Ms. Durga Ramanan (Manager ÔÇô FIT Europe) was nominated as an award qualifier.
There was a display of talent to make the night ultra-entertaining and a key feature was that our very own employees from across the group were auditioned to perform. There were three staff from Diethelm Travel Sri Lanka namely Pradeesh David, Dilakshan Srinivasagam and Ann Caldera who performed a melodious medley. Kisiru Galaboda (Senior Manager – Transport and Travel counter) led the organising committee who worked tirelessly in making the award ceremony yet another memorable one.
