The Putkiri pagoda in Takeo province boasts 2,000 golden Buddha statues surrounding 199 steps leading up to an impressive 10-metre statue.

Founded by four monks and led by the venerable Serey Keo Kakda, the goal is to create a total of 84,000 Buddha statues to honour the 84,000 passages of dharma found in three main Buddhist texts.
