The 11th Mercantile Swimming Championship for the Presidents Trophy was held on 15 October 2017 at the Thurstan Swimming Pool Complex where Diethelm Travel Sri Lanka, representing Team Hemas placed 5th after scoring 229 points. The event is held annually inviting mercantile companies from various industries come together to compete for the trophy.

Captain Viren Anthoniz from Diethelm Travel Lanka stated, ÔÇ£It was very encouraging that the team took the practices seriously to put 229 points on the table. A big thank you to the Hemas Group for believing in us!ÔÇØ

Ann Caldera, Amila Pathirana, Buddhini Fernando, Arun Rajakarunan, Dinuka Kaathriarachchi, Kisiru Galaboda, Sharaf Hussain and Steve Moore competed from Diethelm Travel Lanka, representing Team Hemas.
