Industry Veteran David Carlaw to Provide Hands-On Support to Key Markets

BANGKOK ÔÇô 17 August 2018 ÔÇô Diethelm Travel Group (DTG), an award-winning inbound tour operator servicing Asia, today announced the appointment of David Carlaw to Sales Representative ÔÇô U.K. With in-depth knowledge of Asia travel, Carlaw will be able to provide outstanding value to Diethelm Travel partners on the ground in the U.K.

Working in the travel industry for more than 30 years, Carlaw brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role, including nearly 25 years focusing on product management and contracting within the Asia Pacific region.

The industry veteran was most recently Head of Faraway Product for Premier Holidays where he played an integral role in developing the product. Over the course of his tenure, he helped grow the companyÔÇÖs offerings from a small Far East pamphlet to a large worldwide brochure, including launching the companyÔÇÖs South Africa, Australia, and India brochures.

CarlawÔÇÖs direct experience contracting for Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, The Maldives, Hong Kong, and China in particular further position him to take on his new role with Diethelm Travel Group.
