Experience the thrill of trekking, via ferrataing and canyoning through the protected forest of Namkat in Oudomxay province on this two-day adventure tour.
After a hearty breakfast in your hotel, this tour leads you through grass fields and forests to the Houay Soum Waterfall. The real adventure starts with a ÔÇÿvia ferrataÔÇÖ to the top of the waterfall for incredible landscape views. After canyoning down back down the falls, experience the refreshingly cool water and swim in the natural pool.
The tour continues with a visit to the Bee Nest Cliff, home to an impressive array of beesÔÇÖ nests (dry season only between November and May). Afterward, take a break for lunch and then trek to the top of the Papak Mountain, which has an amazing view of the valley below. At the end of the first day, either set up camp and start a cosy campfire on the top of Papak Mountain or stay overnight at the Tree Top.
Day two begins with breakfast before trekking through the mountain forests. Among these pristine trees are animal tracks made from monkeys, squirrels and different kinds of birds. You may even see monkeys that come out of the forest looking for food. After lunch, continue to trek down the mountain and return to your hotel around 17:00.
