InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort is set to open in Q3 2018 with 459 elegantly appointed rooms, suites and villas with all units facing the sea. The beachfront resort seamlessly combines elegance with local heartfelt charm and boasts numerous leisure and recreational facilities.

Phu Quoc is a tropical paradise located in the warm turquoise waters in the Gulf of Thailand, 50 kilometres from the Vietnamese mainland and a 50-minute flight from the capital Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon).

Phu Quoc is becoming well known for its National Park and protected marine environment, providing memorable experience with plenty of exciting activities. Although it is a relatively new holiday destination, 500,000 ÔÇô 600,000 visitors come to the island per year.

It is blessed with favourable natural environment including virgin forest, white sandy beaches, coral gardens offshore and varied wildlife. The Vietnamese government plans to develop the island into an eco-tourism destination by 2020 and it is now slowly undergoing development and improving its infrastructure.
